For me there is nothing more American than Mustang. Both Ford Mustang and P-51 Mustang. I was schocked to discover that without Royal Air Force this plane would probably never have been designed. Isn't it ironic that the USA owes its iconic plane to Great Britain?

Mezek (Avia S-199) Dual Combo 1:72 - Eduard - Model review

For over more than year Eduard has focused on 1:48 scale. This resulted in lack of many kits in 1:72 scale kits released by this Chech manufacturer. Fortunatelly in recent months Eduard has released reeditions of some kits in smaller scale. The culmination of this action is brand new limited edition Avia  S-199 kit. In Czech Republic plane was named Mezek what does Mule means. Box is full of plastic. There is doubled sprue A with clear parts. One sprue that contains fuselage with erla canopy (E). One sprue that contains fuselage with bubble canopy (F). Doubled sprue with small parts (C). And doubled sprue with wings (D). Parts are well designed. Fuselage and wings are well molded with thin panel lines and sharp details. Moreover the entire plane is rivetted and it looks fantastic! On the inner side of wings there is molded internal structure of flaps which are connected to the oil cooler. So it can be built in open or closed option.
