September Sky 1939, PZL 37B II Łoś i PZL P.11a 1:72 & PZL 37B II Łoś 1:72 IBG Models - Model review
For many modellers from Poland polish aviation constructions of the interwar period are iconic. It should not be suprising that we are proud of talent and abilites of our constructors. After all they were able to create planes that were the best in the world. It was not easy in the realities of Second Polish Republic. To the joy many polish modelers, IBG Models decided to treat us with several Polish constructions from that period, including PZL P.11a and PZL 37B described today.
Therefore two large boxes with quite nice graphics of Polish planes hit my desk.
Both boxes are filled to the top with modeling goods, it must be admitted that the contents can barely fit inside.

All sprues are packaged into plastic bags, we can count twenty gray and two transparent sprues.
First, the fighter parts hit the camera. On the two larger sprues there are main parts of it such as wings and fuselage. Other parts are divided between smaller frames that the manufacturer puts in the box depending on the plane version. There is also transparent sprue with clear elements for all variants of PZL P.11 and PZL P.24.
Parts are well molded with carefully made details. There are also positive rivets in few places.
On the wings there is reproduced characteristic facture of corrugated steel sheet.
And ribs on the bottom side of it.
Smaller parts are also very well molded.
I found only two not so well designed parts. This is oil cooler and instrument panel.
Clear parts are a bit thick, so better idea will be making fairing from photoedged parts and clear film.
Remaining parts in the box belongs to the bomber. Becouse it is bigger than fighter there is more plastic parts (sounds logic:)). There are eleven sprues from grey plastic including doubled one and one with clear parts.
Parts are very well molded, IBG Models designed interior in impresive way. Details are just lovly.
Again instrumet panel is a dissapointment for me.
Transparent parts are crystal-clear.
Apart from plastic parts there are two photoedged plates in the box. First one is for PZL 37B and contains seatbelts, some details for engines, interior and whole wheel bays. Second one is universal for all PZL P.11 versions so not all parts will be used. There is also foil with print to make windscreen for those who don't want use plastic parts for canopy in PZL P.11a.
Decals, made by Thechmod, are very impresive, with well saturated and sharp colours and readible even smallest stencils.
Instruction sheet is in form of a booklet in A4 size. On the first three pages there is inventory of the kit.
Steps of build are shown with renders. They aren't as as good as old style drawings in my opinion. However it is not a big problem to deal with.
Place for stencils is shown in separate renders.
On last few pages there are colour marking shemes. Two decal options for each plane.

Content of this kit is the same as in the one described above exept lack of parts for fighter of course. Due to that I will show you only decals and marking shemes.
This time there are three versions of markings
And decal sheet, again wery vell printed.
Certainly these are the best developed models of PZL P11a and PZL 37B that I have seen.
