PZL P.7a 1:72 Expert Set Arma Hobby - Model review

As you probably noticed I am fan of polish constructions. Especialy from intervar period. So it's not suprising that I have PZL P.7a kit in my inventory. Lets look what we can find in PZL P.7a Expert Set from Arma Hobby.

Beautiful boxart as always. On the back of box there are marked marking options.

Kit contains two sprues, one grey and one transparent.

So, lets look at transparent parts first. On tiny sprue there is windscreen for PZL P7.a and PZL P11. Parts are thin and crystal clear.

There is also transparent foil, so you can make windscreen from it with photoedged frame.

Despite windscreen frame on the plate there are most of all interior parts.

Plastic element will need some work with. Panel lines in some places almost dessapears so it will be needed to rescribe it.

Wings are better molded, but surface of them is very gentle molded and It will be hard not to overpaint it.

There are some details molded on the inner side of fuselage.

In addition to photoedged instrument panel there is plastic one too.,

Other parts are made at the same level.

Decals are printed by Cartograf, so they are on very high level.

There are also masks in the kit.

Finally, the available painting schemes. There is some variety, light or dark khaki, two types of mounted weapons and two different windscreens.

In conclusion, it is hard to compare it with new models from Arma Hobby, because it is their second injection molded model. Kit has some issues but nothing a modeller can handle. It is nice to see what quality progress has been made by Arma Hobby in the course of a few years.
